Too wet outside too play.. Got a few minutes before race starts.   How much do you think Coca Cola pays them guys for product placement to have one in their hands during interviews

Hendrick Racing owns the first two rows tomorrow.....Good Or Bad?  They're paired up right off the get-go for the two car hook runs.... See how it all goes fast and turns left at 177 average mph (probably faster paired).... 8)

Settl'n down for the Nationwide now...  clean'n irons - Drink'n PBR - root'n for JR..... ;D

I don't know I watched that so called dance today, I don't know with 10 yellows how it's advantage, other than there's fewer survivors.  I have to say that 18 year old did a great job staying out of trouble

Arcey it was pretty obvious they wanted it seen when the camera was pointing at them.  Maybe Coke Cola could go to the End of the Trail and do that.

That's plate racin'. I enjoy watchin' the strategy 'n seein' who runs with who.

What aggravates me is the money. Nemechek finishes 4th 'n collects 40 some odd thousand dollars. 4th tomorrow's gonna pay about a 100 grand more. It don't cost that much more to field a cup car than it does a Nationwide car.

There are always gonna be big wrecks at Daytona and Talladega. That is the beast called "restrictor plate" racing. It was good to see Front Row Joe finish 4th. I hope Mike Wallace is okay after his wild ride. He was stong in James Finch's car. The race tomorrow won't be much different. A lot of wrecks and a lot bent sheetmetal.

Suppose ya can lobby Mike Helton {NASCAR} to "Luxury Tax" those obscenely paid Sprint Cup drivers and teams and subsidise the prize money for those poor abused Nationwide drivers and teams...... ???  ???

Would you lobby for a Progressive Luxury Tax, as a variable percentage as it goes down the finishing position or would it be a Flat Luxury Tax where all the Sprint Cupper's would pay a Flat say 10% or would it be a Fair Luxury Tax that would go something like: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need " where the mega teams pay the most - the mediocre teams pay less to none and the small teams pay nothing and may share in the subsidy... ???  ???

I think that there is already a form of the "Fair Luxury Tax" in NASCAR now? ???  As in ALL Sports it is the Fan's who does all the pay'n 'till they pay NO-MO!!....  FREE MARKET WORKS if ya keep the meddlers OUT!

How about...That's Life and leave it alone .... ;)

True.

Bruton Smith, for an example, has more money than NASCAR. The current France has turned NASCAR from a billion dollar operation to a multimillion operation. It wouldn't have much of an impact on either to pay the trucks 'n Nationwide stuff more. When the socialists took over 'n the economy started to tank the purses were cut ten. The ecomony hit the teams too. The fields are slowly shrinkin'. As sucessful as Braun was, he sold 'n got out. Hell, even the thief consolidated with Earnhardt's corporation. Billy Ballew has sold his truck team and he had a solid winner with Kyle Busch drivin'.

Mid pack on back, purse money covers the expences. Sponsorship is the profit. Without a front runnin' effort or a big name, sponsorships are thin. Kyle Busch was ponderin' closin' his operation down at the end of the season but he came up with an infusion of money from a ride-buyin' open wheel dude. Thinkin' it's prolly Roush's personality that causes us ta see him runnin' white cars.

Didn't look long. Didn't see a line on an over/under for cars runnin' at the finish. I guessin' no more than thirty.

Damn. Lost my over/under. Too many walkin' wounded. Nemechek parks it after five laps 'n finishes 41st.  Hehehehehehe...... Collects seventy nine grand. Hell of a finish to the race.

Naw, Tex. Don't know anything about Ballew stealing stuff. Ganassi either. Then again I don't know of any association between Ganassi 'n JR Motorsports. Perhaps fan-boy can edjucate us.

Bein' a former LEO like me I know you know who the thief is. As we've said before, our former profession won't wash off with a retirement check.

Hey Dick Curmudgeon....Fan Boy here....... It's your quote......The only Earnhardt Corp is the one that merged with Chip Ganassi....Now if ya want to call JR Motorsports Earnhardt corporation that is your ignorance.   :-\

It sure seems that you do alot of double talk'n and toe step'n all over this town with that sharp fork'd-tongue and that is just disgraceful behavior for anyone let-alone a LEO present or former.  Your deceitfulness even had Texas Lawdog confused and has me questioning just what kind of LEO you were; therefore, it is of my opinion that your retirement check is dirty money of income redistribution from the honest folks..  >:(   ... Ralph Dale Earnhardt, Jr., is referred to as just Earnhardt by many people. Found these while I was finishing my coffee. There are more but I don't have the time. I have things to do.

These are professional writers.

JR Motorsports is Earnhardt's (note the 's) corporation. After all, it's called the Earnhardt Nation not the Earnhardt, Jr. Nation.

I'll get to the rest later. Ta ta for now..

The patriarch of the stock car racing Earnhardt’s, Ralph Lee Earnhardt, is known by many people as “just Earnhardt”.  Ralph Lee Earnhardt’s son, Ralph Dale Earnhardt, is known by many people as “just Earnhardt” also.  In the race world today there is a few other “just Earnhardt’s” racing, occasionally racing, and/or just starting up a racing career are also known by many people as “just Earnhardt”….. This feeble attempt to justify deceiving communication skills because that is what other people do (Professional’s or not) is very weak minded and LAZY on all accounts……   :-\  :-\

I am going to be bold here and claim that the “Intimidator” has taken his father’s foundation and built upon it with his own talents and foresight “the” Earnhardt Corporation as in Dale Earnhardt, Inc. and How-n-What it has now become is another super gripe of mine that I’ll save for another time, this ends my boldness.  All the other “just Earnhardt’s” have there own corporations (per se) that don’t have the Earnhardt name in it I’m sure because of Teresa’s doing…. So once again the only “Earnhardt’s corporation” is DEI that has merged with Chip Ganassi…. Earnhardt Jr’s corporation is JR Motorsports….

Those of us who fortunately or maybe unfortunately have been named after our father we are born into a nickname terminology that distinguishes us from our father. I too was born to such a perpetual nickname as the example of Lil’ Andy “vs” Big Andy despite the fact after the end of my growth period I was much stronger -n- bigger than my father; furthermore, after his death I’m still the Lil’ one.  Others are: 1st or 2nd, Senior or Junior, Older or Younger, Big or Little, etc….  It sticks forever even after dear ol’ Dad has gone on to the here after….  Like it or NOT…..   ;)  ;)

The conclusive response of this obnoxious banter is and always has been:  Speaking of Earnhardt is speaking about Dale Senior and speaking of Dale Junior is Earnhardt Jr. or just plain ol’ Junior…..Like it or NOT….  Of course, ignorance is bliss; I will not be dragged any further into the level of ignorant semantics only to beat with the experience of an elitist narcissistic antique flashing around a LEO revenuer badge.  May have worked back-in-the-day to put people in front of a Judge to pick their wallets, today is has no respect or standing…..   :-*  :-*

Oh, and Tigger (ta ta for now); you are correct that it is not Earnhardt, Jr. Nation; however, it is not the Earnhardt Nation eitherIt is the:

JR NATION.....GO 88
EARNHARDT NATION.....GO 3...memoria
I'll look back next weekend for Richmond when I'm back in town...  ;D  :D  ;D  :D
