We went and saw Nicholas yesterday and he is still progressing well.  He has lost about a pound and they want him to gain some before they discharge him.  He was only taking about 30 ccs but when Joan fed him he took 38! He is crying some now so that is good.  He had a couple of poopy diapers while we were there which is also good.  If he gains some weight he might get to go home soon.

Further report is that he is now taking about 54 ccs of formula and is gaining some weight. He will probably get to go home on Monday which is my son's birthday.  Both Matt and his wife have to take an infant CPR class before Nicholas is discharged.

We received the best news possible today.  Nicholas is going home today!!!.  He drank more than 360 ccs of formula yesterday and is doing very well.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts over the past several days.  It really helped us through the whole thing.
