John,
Kinda hard to say looking at the photo, but it looks like the triggerguard rests on top of the holster. NCOWS requires the holster to not be lower than the leading edge of the triggerguard. So, if no part of the holster covers any part of the triggerguard, the holster would not meet NCOWS standards. Look at Packing Iron and you'll see that the only holster with the rear below the triggerguard is a Slim Jim with that part of the holster broken off! Pretty much says that they were never made that low in the rear of the holster.
Come shoot with us the weekend after Christmas, and since I won't see you before then,
Have a Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
Cole
Cole, the trigger guard actually sets about a 1/4" deep in the holster, I know that's minuscule but it is covered.
That's measuring from the cylinder cut out straight down, if you look closely you can't see
any of the front or top of the trigger guard.
Not trying to nit-pick, just trying to get out of buying new holsters right now, kinda leather poor as it is.
I already have "Packing Iron', had it about 12-14 years now.
The shoot after Christmas- - - - maybe, depending on the weather.......you know how that is!!
If not then - - - next year, some for sure.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you
Ringo
