Does anyone know what the .45ACP cartridge boxes looked like in the 1911 period? Thought I would like to make some or find a vendor who does. Does anyone have a colored photo of the box art. That would work for me. Thought it would be nice to have a dozen or so for the matches.

A good source of pictures and information on this if you can find a copy or get it through a library is The Pitman Notes on U.S.Martial Small Arms and Ammunition Vol.2. By Brig.Gen. John Pitman.Pictures are B&W but it gives box dimensions and thicknesses and picture of label.
