That's a LITTLE BITTY bench!

I guess it stays clean by proxy!

I fixed my clamping/bolting/space issue years ago, here's what works for me:

I bought a piece of 6"x3/8" cold roll flat stock and cut it the length of the bench. I then determined the needed length of plate for "quick detach" plates based on the largest footprint of my equipment (about 10"). I cut a bunch of plates and drilled them to attach to each press and sizer and etceteras. These use countersunk allens so as to sit flush on the bench mounted plate which is drilled and tapped with a recurring pattern so that the equipment can be bolted wherever you like or need. The plate on the bench is also mounted with countersunk hardware so that it is smooth on top. Behind this bench top plate I have a piece of 3/8" conveyor belt (but you could use Masonite) so that the "height" of the bench top is flush. If you look up at my pictures you will see that I also made a "shelf" on the wall out of 6" angle (drilled and tapped w/same pattern) so I can move equipment up there when not in use!

The Dillon press is mounted on a home-built riser that serves the same purpose as their "strong mount", but does provide another work surface.  I had the shotgun & single station presses mounted on 5/8" plywood & clamped them with bench dogs to my woodworking table.  When done, I put them on a small shelf in the same general area as the bench in the photo.  There was a shelving unit there.  I finally figured out that it would be easier to put them all there permanently then organize storage above & below.  Its small, but it works surprisingly well if I keep things organized.

What you don't see is every other work surface in the shop covered with stuff!

Here's some photos of my reloading area in my new shop. Still moving things over from the old one. Already reloaded about 500 rounds here and I do think it will work.

Thanks to you I found them online, had them in about 4 days. When I get a welder and teach myself how to use it I will put your original plans to the test. But in the meantime I had to make do with what I had and could do.

Works better than I thought it would. Very pleased with the results.

Thought I would add my reloading bench/work bench to the gallery. It's not as neat as some, and it's not as much space as I wish I could have, but it's usable and quite usable for what I need.

Well here is my set up. I have two Lee Pro 1000 presses but only a small apartment attached to my self storage facility. However the extra bed room is working great for me.

I'm sorry to say that if I took a picture in my loading "room" it'd look like a disorganized wastebasket, with a Dillon 550 and a Bonanza press in the middle of what appears to be the flattest area.

SOME day.  Actually, that some day needs to arrive ASAP because I'm almost out of loads for nearly everything I shoot most!

Roger Major 2, it's nice to see how your bench has come along in the last few months!

With three grandkids living with us, I no longer have a man-cave,LOL. My reloading bench is a fold up shooting bench that I can have in action to reload in about ten minutes. Of course all I load for these days is .45 Colt. All the reloading gear is kept in my closet with my leather working gear. The kids have some 'issues' so I have to keep everything well out of reach. I don't mind though, not their fault.
The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.

I have added to my loading bench. I now load 45/79 so got a good deal on a single press and already had the LeeHandLoader.

it is portable.....move it anywhere I want to...

I'll be darned, it worked. Bench is a 6 footer, about 30+ inches deep. has an RCBS Partner single at the left end, A Dillon SDB left center, a LEE PRO 1000 right center, and a MEC 600jr. right end. Since I've been having problems, hasn't been used in a while, but, once I get to get back to shooting, it'll get used again......Buck ;D

The War Dept. took pity on my crowded working areas so she gave me a whole bedroom to use for my reloading, gun storage and cleaning. Attached are a few pictures.  The bench also gets used as a cleaning area for my guns.

Nicely done, J.M.!  Very sweet of the General to take pity on you.

Nicely organized.  My room USED to be organized.  Someday ...

I was just at Home Depot and they had a workbench kit on sale for $50. All the wood parts are pre-cut. Looks to be 6' long by 18 or 24" deep. Not bad for $50.
