Moose and I had a great Brunch and I took her to an afternoon movie. After the movie, we stopped at a couple of girlie stores, and finished up at Sam's. We came home and warmed up the potato soup.

80% rain here was no show, never got so much as a spritz or more , didn't even de-dust the X-over...

I think that our rain may be over for at least a couple of days. The 0300 plumbing check is completed and I am wide awake. Oatmeal and toast are in order for breakfast this morning.

48º now, 51º later. Ain't got far ta go. He I Witness Weather said pretty decent when the cans went out a l'il while ago.

Load the l'il red one up 'fore too long then errands ta the post office 'n off site - not necessarily in that order. Just so happens both are real close ta the nest. Time's gettin' short, fellas. Guessin' twix tomorrow 'n Monday.

I went back to bed at 0400 and slept till 0900. I could get accustomed this good sleeping. Nothing on the agenda today. Cloudy and cool, no rain in sight. Oatmeal and toast for late brunch. No clue for supper tonight.

We had Chinese take out for supper last night. Box dinner for tonight.

Sewer plant's still acting up. Probably have under control just in time for it to rain tomorrow

Hey.

Y'all had us beat for warm. Cool 'n breezy all day. A decent day for me tho, with exceptions.

Guy I did business with when I bought the station wagon was daughter #1's first boy friend. He's married with his own kid too. Moved to a Nissan dealership. Fat lady clued me he'd kinda done a Kyle Busch imitation. Ta quote; 'So much for things going well..... Car totaled, broken wrist left hand, broken pinky right hand, 3 bones broken in right foot, surgery required,..... And just s**t out of luck. Life is great...' Good kid. Done well for hisownself. Guess he'll heal. Hate it for 'im tho.

Saw my first aerial 'dog-fight' this afternoon. Female was out on her break. Spotted a juvenile 'bout the same time we did. Engaged same. Looked like the youngun had the upper hand for a short but the last time they took a run at one 'nother she/he dodged 'er 'n kept flyin'.

In this'n the female had flipped on 'er back 'n was goin' in talons first. Had a fit gettin' both in the frame but I did get a few. Far out as they were it stretched the 250mm lens a bit.

Beef Vegetable Soup went real well ta close things out. Ain't finished with the uploads but they're gonna hafta wait awhile. Rack time.

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready to drink! Enjoy! Too early yo eat. Breakfast is later. The beans were good, I had two bowls. We have enough for tonight, maybe add some potato salad and smoked sausage.

Those 'advanced' NEF birds should be in the air soon. The NEF birds of last season fledged at 75 'n 82 days. The 'advanced' Noel is 77 today. The World Famous NBG Eagle, HK fledged at 74 days. NBG averages based on 12 birds, 2007 thru 2010; high 83 (2), low 74 (1) average 79.

Don't understand why they spout that bile. Thru God's Grace the younguns are fine, healthy 'n handsome animals. Some behavior's been early, some late. Nothing special. They're individuals. They're on their own schedules. It's the essence of freedom 'n THAT'S special in 'n of itsownself. Spent some time with one of the mods yestitty over it the nest. Didn't wanna put the woman on a spot in front of other folks so I left it be.

I went back to bed after I made the Cawffee this morning. The temps should be in the 60s today, and hopefully no rain. I got back about 0730 to have more Cawffee.
