RIP "Pardner" Steve Irwin

Our deepest sympathies to all of you in OZ who lost an Australian Great, Steve Irwin aka: The Crocodile Hunter.  We will miss him up here in the States too. I dedicated a Eucalyptus tree (Omeo Gum)  in my garden in his honor.

God bless.

Steve Irwin's death was a loss felt 'round the world.  Not only was he entertaining, but he was a great conservationist and friend to the natural world.  Think of all the folks, kids especially, who have an appreciation of wild critters and the need to preserve them because of his efforts.  My heart goes out to his wife and to his two children.  Many of us feel we lost a friend, they lost a husband and loving father.  "Another world must pass before such a one can be again."  Goodbye, Steve, and many thanks.
