Angel, don't worry. I was an instructor by the Public Transport Cie of Amsterdam and have teached a lot of people for the busses and streetcars. Every man got his driverslicense. And that was work. Shooting is a hobby and I'm proud that someone will learn and asked me for that.
Yesterday she have used my lever action and she was hooked. Times will tell. Nice for you to have a Dad like yours. My Dad dyed in 1987 and I started shooting in 1988, but I know he had loved it to come with me. I'll keep you informed about my student.

I have to admit I got a darn good one when they were handing out dads. Even my closest friends like to hang out with him. He taught me how to shoot smokeless and B.P.

He doesn't care much for cleaning up the B.P. rifle but is sure is fun to shoot and every now and then I get him to take it out. It's an old Hawkins muzzleloading rifle. One of the skills he also taught me that might impress folks here but I don't put it down on any resumes is I have been trained in the fine art of throwing a tamahawk.

He used to belong to a mountain man reinacting group.

My husband beat us both at the shoot. (wasn't hard to do in my case) but I think dad's gunnin' ta beat him next time. LOL...Like I said old age and treachery.

We are all having a great time!

Aye Scarlet, it will and leave the youth bewildered.

Jist so everybody knows, Scarlet and her husband both have what it takes to be really good "ground shooters."

T.T. I've watched the "normal" (and I use that word loosly in this place) shooters for awhile...but the thrill has always been runnin' targets down and shootin' offa horseback.

Saturday.

Go down to the local car boot sale then out for lunch at our local Lone Star restaurant with a few cowboys and their wives.

Sunday.

Up to the monthly shoot at Newtec, its their last shoot for the year so we will shoot 5 or 6 stages and have a bang up lunch.

At life great ?

Hell Cammy, don't end up with "Housewifes Knees" and another thing those adoption papers seem to have got "Lost in the mail" and the US Embasy here said they they haven't recieved 'em !!..........LOL

What a great weekend
Saturday.
Car boot sale was good bought some christmas presents,lunch a Lone Star with the guys and their wifes and my family was tops.
Sunday.
The shoot at Newtec was the best,came in second on the day and I came in second overall for the year (I don't know how they worked that out,but it was great) and then they put on a great lunch for us all.

Ain't life great ??

Saturday went to a large Harvest festival or as my husband says crap fair. LOL...I did buy a very nice leather shawl. When I got home I told my husband he bought it for me for Christmas

(it's red what else)

Sunday more shopping

bought some wine colored velvet like material and will have a new skirt for Las Vegas next month

Oh and did some shopping for Thanksgiving...It's sooo close.
