This is  an interesting history, though it does take some license, an vary's from the fact...
Both Ledger & Bloom do a good job....

I was impressed with the historical accuracy of the firearms. Most films don't show BP revolvers being reloaded properly. Or at all, really.

I also enjoyed Ned Kelly. It was interesting to see his ambitions and his guts. He really was a Boyo but he had political ambition.......he wanted to show that ordinary people can take on the Man and that repression by Goverment has a price that some are prepared to pay. I loved the Irish rebel in him. Parts reminded me of Young Guns where Ned /Billy can make ordinary guys find something in themselves they didn't  know they had, like courage and self reliance.  Good music too.
