OT: remake of "Kwai"?
« on: October 06, 2004, 11:54:12 PM »
I picked up a "sleeper" at Wally World today... "To End All War"...

It's the story of the British POWs who built the Burmese railway bridge... starring Robert Carlyle and Kiefer Sutherland..It's based upon the book by Capt. Ernest Campbell, who survived the war.

Boys, if you're a WW II history buff, this is a MUST SEE. It's absolutely riveting in its stark realism... and the parade of survivors at the end is simply magnificicent!

God rest the souls of all who pershed... and bless those who survived.

Interesting view.  If rumours are correct,  The Bridge over the River Kwai is going to be reshot again.  I hope it does.  Security is going to be tight on it.  The DVD is going to come out as a special edition if you believe rumours.
