Fienwerkbau cap and ball sixgun.
« on: November 04, 2006, 07:50:19 AM »
These are on sale her and look like Rogers and Spencers or whatever they are called. The Fienwerkbau company turn out top quality air pistols (and rifles) and more lately 22s predominately. This is a new one on me. Knowing the company, this would be one accurate gun! They are $AU1700 though, so they'd want to work wouldn't they! Anyone had any experience with them? Mick.
All my cowboy gun's calibres start with a 4! It's gotta be big bore and whomp some!

You are correct, this is a TOP SHELF replica of the Rogers & Spencer

Mine is a low s/n 7xx. The action is very smooth , trigger pull is about eight ounces , the lock up is like that of a freedomarms ! ,

barrel is smooth as glass!  Remember: you may not get what you pay for , but most likly you aint gunna get what you don't pay for!!

The only reason I am thinkin  about replacing my Feinwerkbau , is to get an original !

I'm mighty tempted to buy a pair. I figure if you are going to get into BP, they would be as good as anything and better than most. They look a bit goofy though. Now if Fienwerkbau made a Colt Navy lookalike, I'd would have alreday bought one ;D. Mick
