Any Colt SAA 38/40 Issues?

Are there any chamber, cylinder mouth, or bore and groove issues with the 3rd Gen. 38/40 Colt SAA's? I've decided that if one wants to shoot a 180 to 200 grain bullet in a SAA this looks like the way to go. Also is it true that there was once a jacketed bullet black powder load for it?

I ordered a consecutive pair of Colt SAA in 38-40.  One was no problem while the other had terribly oversized chambers and chamber mouths.  Of course, they had fitted a 45 Colt cylinder to the 38-40 at the Colt factory so it was kind of expected.  Called them, sent the revolver to them and they made it right.

That mistake made that a collector gun. With documentation it was worth big bucks. I once saw a S&W 17 with a 38 Spl cylinder and the test target. The owner received a big offer from S&W to get that gun back.
