So you'll be able to collect all the fur at once. LOL...how many times a yr? Seems to me my friend said her dogs blew their coats twice a year.

Ours blow them twice a year. Of course, they don't have a whole lot so it isn't too bad.

Cammie, my Podengo, Peanut, "blows" his coat twice a year.....for about 5-1/2 months each time.  Everything he eats turns to hair.  He's blown enough hair that I could crochet a steam locomotive and have some left over.

You'll need lots and lots of vacuum cleaner bags.

Gotta bagless vacuum.   ;D

Males and spaded females blow their coats once a year.  Unspaded females twice a year.

Minsc is home.  These are pictures that Sallie took of him yesterday.  I've been too busy to get the camera out yet.

Great looking puppy Camille,He is going to keep you both busy.  ;)

He's learning very quick!  So am I though.   :D

He's sassy, he throws fits, he wants to be the center of attention all the time.  He's a puppy, yep.

He's also starting to sleep all night, getting pretty well adjusted to his crate, learning a few basic commands and trying to chase the cats every chance that he gets.

Yep, he's a puppy.   :D

We did the crate training, too, but my wife is a pushover and now they're all over us at night. LOL, just let him get a taste of the end of the bed......  :D

Noooo!  No bed.  Our house was built in 1910 and we can't get anything bigger than a double bed up the stairs.  We had to build the "box springs" in the room.  One 9 lb cat, me and Stump more than fill the bed up.  Do you have any idea how much room a 9 lb cat can take up?  It's unbelievable.  She just started getting access everynight since Minsc came too. :D

Heck I'm not even letting him go upstairs.  He's so clumsy that he would kill himself coming back down them

I had to run them out again last night. One curls up at the foot of the bed, no big deal. The other one gets between us and then turns sideways and stretches out. THAT won't do. We have dog beds at the foot of the bed and they can do fine there. We have two cats, too. Fortunately they don't bother us too much.

When we brought our first one home, he immediately ran up the stairs and came back down. Dump, dump, dadump, dump, dadump, dadumpdump, dump.

Wait till he hides yer credit cards for a week, like somebodies puppy did, although at 14 months and 95 pounds, puppy is a loose term.  He brought them out from hiding after a week when we were talking about getting some more dog treats. ::)
