Need expert advice.

Got a colt SAA barrel,,Great shape EXCEPT the stud that ejector housing screws goes into is missing..My question is ,,,What is the best way to mount the ejector housing,,DRILL HOLE IN BARREL AND TAP FOR SCREW...?..TRY TO FIND COLT SAA STUD AND TRY STAKING IT IN??? Or anyother options?

You don't have a lot of material to work with.  Not a lot of barrel there.  Best bet would be sourcing a barrel stud for the barrel.
