I will say these words again as I have said in the CASS-Australia posting

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I have only ever said these words twice in my life. 1st time with the passing of my Father in Law and next was with my Father --

We are only saying goodbye to the mortal body of the man. So long as ONE person remembers, the soul and spirit of the man shall live forever."

Today, whilst being a VERY SAD day, was also a celebration of the life of the one we know as Texas Tall. His sons said a 'few' words and told of his competitive nature, his love of life and family. How he embraced every venture he undertook and was passionate about it. One lad called him his 'Hero', another called him his 'Champion' because hero was already used. Both were correct.

TT, your powder will always be dry, you will forever shoot straight and have clean matches. You will be sorely missed, but always fondly remembered.

I am proud to call him "FRIEND".   :)

It was with a heavy heart that I said farewell to a very good mate Don Newell aka Texas Tall.I had only known TT for a very short time, but like many others he touched our hearts.

He has gone but he will never be forgotten,he will live in our hearts forever.

Rest in Peace my old mate TT (GSC 002)
