Ithaca Guns Back In Business
UPPER SANDUSKY, OH—Ithaca Guns is back in business under the new name of Ithaca Guns USA, LLC, and with a headquarters office that will now be located in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, rather than Ithaca, King Ferry or Auburn.
Craig and Floyd Marshall, owners of MoldCraft, a molding and tool and dye company that makes plastic molds for fast food chains, purchased the rights to the Ithaca Gun name, designs and inventory this past December. Using their 30,000 square-foot CNC machinery-equipped plant and Ithaca Gun plans and specifications, the new company says it's already turning out variations of the Model 37 pump that's been the flagship of the Ithaca Gun name for approximately 70 years.

I just received this today via email from the North American Hunting Club.

That is great news ... back from the brink  ;D

My dad had a Ithaca 12 Gauge SXS I shot as a kid 50 years ago. He got it used before the war, in the early thirties I think.
I seem to recall is was made in the teens.  I have no clue what model it was ???
Though, I remember it well Blue and Walnut, Box Lock ,double trigger not fancy but a great gun.

My cousin wound up with it in a trade for Rem 870 pump with my Dad in the late 60's.
Now he has lost track of it somehow. I wish I could get a hold of it again.
when planets align...do the deal !

Good news!   My first gun was an Ithaca Model 49 Saddle Gun my parents bought at Sears for my 10th Birthday.  It's still my squirrel and rabbit rifle 40 years later.  I hope they put it or the Modle 72 back in production.  Henry's could use a less expensive competitor.  One of my uncles had a Featherlight I always admired which is now in a cousins closet gathering dust and rust.  I may be buying a new shotgun.
Hope they make a go of it.
