Thank you !!!, Gentelmen,,,to my limited knowledge,,only "Winchester& Chaparral" have made a "76" in the 40/60 cal. , But if anyone knows differently,,please advise. I have a 40/60 (76) chaparral it is one of the better one's( Well ,YEA,NOW !!) and I am looking at a cartridge lifter that has "40/60 " scribed on the bottom,,,hence the question. Just so i'll have a spare.

my uberti is marked (45-75) but its stamped rather than engraved
cimmarron sells uberti - not chapparral ? yes? no ? maybe ?

Uberti.  They used Cimarron originals to copy the rifle and carbine.

Hey Abilene,,,long time ,,,Howdy greyhawk,,yea  i'm up ,,thinking about the lifter ,,if it's original (Winchester) it will fit my chaparral.
      If "Uberti" won't fit,,the seller don't know what the lifter is out of .

If the seller could make some measurements, you could compare H/L/W/D to yours, which might rule it out or not.

I have noticed that Cimarron has two 40-60's (CA2502) on order from Uberti, plus there are two backorders.  I would assume that the Uberti orders were placed when the customers ordered them.  So it would appear that 40-60's are available if you don't mind waiting.

 Well,!!! I ordered the lifter anyway,,might be worth a try as a extra,,if not ,,,some one might need it .
