Here is something Walt Disney never mentioned about "Davy."

Crockett was an owner of at least one slave.

In May 1831, he sold a Negro girl, Adaline, to his brother-in-law to help pay his creditors.

Underneath his signature on the bill of sale, he wrote "Be allways sure you are right then Go, ahead."
