Regardless of what anyone has to say, or not say, about either Democrat running for nomination, the party with the donkey will have made this year the most interesting primary year in recent memory.

Conventions have also been rather humdrum in recent years. This year's convention, however, may prove just as interesting as the primaries. If neither Democrat wins enough delegates before the convention starts, the two front runners will duke it out at the convention. As one commentator has said, we may see a Democrat "bloodbath." That "bloodbath," if it takes place, will occur right here in my own back yard.

On a negative note, there is an organization called "Recreate68" that has threatened to disrupt the 2008 Denver Democrat convention in much the same way as protesters did at the 1968 Chicago Democrat convention.

These people are far left liberals threatening liberals. Their emblem is a clinched fist pointed straight up in the air. One of the lowlifes was on the radio this morning threatening to do everything possible to disrupt convention proceedings. They have put out a call for people to join them in the streets of Denver to protest imperialism and racism.
"If one of the many corrupt...county-seat contests must be taken by way of illustration, the choice of Howard County, Kansas, is ideal." Dr. Everett Dick, The Sod-House Frontier, 1854-1890.
"One of the most expensive county-seat wars in terms of time and money lost..." Dr. Homer E Socolofsky, KSU

Keep us posted Waldo. First hand impressions are usually more accurate than the reports we receive through the media that have been percolated through pre concieved scenarios. Yes, this is indeed an interesting year for democrats!
