Linda Kay Hall, 79, of Benton, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas surrounded by her family.  She was born on March 7, 1944, the daughter of Ora Paul and Gertrude Virginia (Kille) Smith in Brookfield, Missouri.

Linda spent her early years in Dawn, Missouri and graduated from Southwest High School in 1962.  She married Don Hall on June 27, 1970.  Don and Linda were well known in the Howard area as the owners of Teletronics Cable TV from 1976 until 1986.

Linda was a loving and dedicated wife and mother.  Her hobbies included cooking, shopping with her granddaughters, and visiting with friends and family.  Her generosity and hospitality were felt by friends and strangers alike.  She was known as "Nanny" to fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, Don Hall of Benton, Kansas; her children, Stefanie (Mike) Lill of Augusta, Kansas, Mark (Regina) Hall of Tirana, Albania, Kim Lanning of Eudora, Kansas, Mike (Norma) Hall of Elk Falls, Kansas, and Stacie (Jerry) Phillips of Westminster, Colorado.  Linda is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebekal Lill, Emmalee Lill, Gregory Lill, Benjamin Lill, Jesse Hall, Seth Hall, Leah Hall, Anna Hall, Joseph Lanning, Maggie Bratcher, Nicole Kooken, Michaela Engelbrecht, Riley Hall, Jaclyhn Madden, and Matthew Phillips.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry Paul Smith of Chillicothe, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.  Funeral service will be held at 1;00 p.m. on Friday at Countryside Funeral Home with interment ro follow in Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Legion Auxiliary #149 Carter Rader Post and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
