Juanita M. Miller, age 95, of Moline, Kansas, passed away on January 14, 2021 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield, Kansas.  She was born June 26, 1925 in Howard, Kansas to Howard and Hazel Hope (Hillis) Estep.

Juanita grew up in Howard alongside one brother and two sisters and graduated from Howard High School in 1943.  Soon after graduating high school, Juanita married Melvin Miller in Columbus, Kansas on September 27, 1943.  They moved from Howard to Moline, Kansas shortly after their marriage and raised two children together.  They shared 69 years together until Melvin's passing in 2013.

Juanita was a faithful Christian mother.  Her life revolved around the two most important things to her:  her family and her church.  She was a member of the Moline Baptist Church where she was active as a Sunday School teacher and choir leader for many years.  She was also a member of the Music and Literary Club in Moline and helped out with the American Legion Auxiliary.

Juanita loved being a mom and grandma to all her family.  She made every one of them feel special, and each and every one of her grandchildren knew that they were her favorite.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Aundrea "Andi" Hebb and her husband, John of Moline, Kansas; grandchildren, Maryann Steinlichit and husband Greg, Amber Henderson, Tabby Miller, Katha Richardson and husband, Joel, and Andrew Hebb and wife, Amanda; 15 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin; her son, Gregory "Greg" Miller; her sisters, Velma Boone and Phyllis Davison; and her brother, Phillip "Bud" Estep.

Funeral services for Juanita will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moline First Baptist Church in Moline, Kansas.  Interment will follow at the Moline Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Moline Baptist Church and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
