Heath Dean Brown of rural Eureka, Kansas, son of Bobby "Bob" and Janice (Davis) Brown, left this troubled world on September 19, 2020 at Ascension Via Christi St. Teresa Hospital in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 36.  He was born December 24, 1983 at Newman  Hospital in Emporia, Kansas.

Heath attended and graduated from the Eureka, Kansas school system, Class of 2002.  He enjoyed playing all sports as a child, but he especially cherished his memories of being a member of the Eureka Tornado football team.  He was an avid K-State fan and could recount numerous details about the athletes who wore the purple during their KSU careers and their lives after graduation.

Heath also enjoyed following NASCAR racing, especially Clint Boyer's career, and was a fan of the Kansas City Royals.  He worked on the farm with his parents and had managed with pride a herd of cattle for Frank and Rita Bills of Severy, Kansas.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eureka and the Racing Wranglers 4-H Club.  He enjoyed visiting, and once he spent any time talking to you, you became a friend for life.

Heath is survived by his parents; his sister, Abby (Jeremy) Nelson of Towanda, Kansas; his paternal grandmother, Mary Martha Brown of Eureka, Kansas; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy L. Davis of Severy, Kansas; three nephews, Jack Norris, Max John, and Lee Willis Nelson; extra family, Ruth and Gary Yeubanks and family of Duncan, Oklahoma; and a host of extended family and friends, especially Jameson Daniel Stewart, his little buddy.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Willis E. Brown, and his maternal grandfather, John E. Davis.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka, Kansas with Mr. Judd Everitt officiating.  Masks should be worn and social distancing observed.  Please feel free to bring a lawn chair. Visitation hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Heath D.
