I respect your opinion.
However, my opinion is totally different.

Acting in a Socialist manner and giving away $100,000.00 is not a responsible attitude of a County Commissioner.

And now even though the have an extra almost 1 million dollars a year that more they didn't have just 5 years ago they are discussing raising our property taxes 6 mills. Is not in my way of thinking being responsible to the property owners. In fact I have spoke with several long time residents that are thinking of selling an =d getting out of Elk County for the simple reason of the possibility of careless spending and continuation for property rate tax hikes.

I understand they are now talking $100,000.00 away from the road budget, why?
Is it because they gave away $100,000.00  as SOCIALISTS !

And losing Mr. Hebb off of the commissioners panel for a yes man to the "old Guard"  definitely won't help.

Oh yes, Shari with her big Elk Konnected big ideas will work great to raise property taxes.

Spending money you don't have just because you want to is a terrible idea. I bet you don't do that do you?

We need a write in for Mr. Hebb for county Commissioner in November!

Why?

Because Mr. Hebb is his own man !  Not an "Old Guard" yes man !

Because Mr. Hebb has grit and stands his ground.

Because Mr. Hebb is an honest man that cares about the taxpayers, young and elderly.

Because Mr. Hebb is not there to try to make a name for himself and have it on some big sign.

YES, "SHARI KEEP ON KEEPING ON."

At least until the County is destroyed.

Now that my entitled opinion. And this is in the Political Section. ROFLMAO and crying for the miss deeds to property owners.

I REALLY DON'T CARE WHO AGREES OR NOT.

You conveyed a message with no meat as a County Commissioner!

I conveyed a message with meat to consider, that's all.

Isn't politicking fun and interesting?

To each their own, opinion !         That's what I stand by !

Nighty Night Everyone.

What makes you think Dave Evans or Alan Coble won't make good commissioners?

Did I say that?        No, I did not !

What I know about Mr. Evans, I feel pretty confident that he is a conservative and can be trusted.
He does attend many County Commissioners meetings and School Board meetings. I think Mr Evans has a strong interest in what is best for Elk County and how the majority of people feel about the cost of property tax --- especially the effect on the elderly and the growth of Elk County. He is also presently on a couple of boards.

I don't know much about Mr. Coble except for what he had to say at the Candidates Forum at West Elk.
He said he doesn't know much about county business and that he would have to learn.

I have been told he is about to retire from the County Road Department. That's it, that is all I know about Mr. Cobel. I don't know if he is a real conservative or not.

It is my opinion that a lot of people confuse the terms conservative, progressive, republican, democrat and liberal. Just saying.

While running the Opposition Petition against West Elks property tax Resolution I spoke with a lady who most likely is a conservative on many things but when it comes to West Elk she was not. She said the school should get all the property has money they want! Because she wants her grand children to get a good education. What is wring with that is, it has been proven that more money does not improve educational standards. just getting more money does not mean it goes into the class room.

Who's responsibility is it to monitor what goes on in the class room? The School Board! But I haven't heard any evaluation reports from the Superintendent. The State law, I believe only requires once a year. But the School Board can require evaluations as often as they desire. But I don't believe the School Board members know that.

At every School Board meeting there is an Executive Session!  WhY?

Executive Sessions are suppose to be only used for student or teacher or staff disciplinary problems to maintain those people's privacy. Does West Elk have that many disciplinary problems? Month after month after month?

This is also the sane reason for Executive Sessions at County Commissioners meetings. All other is public information and is not secret.

Which brings us back to Sheri Kaminska! Before she became a County Commissioner she attended a County Commissioner's meeting and a member of the audience requested an executive session. LOL
That is simply not doe or permitted only the board can declare an Executive Session ! Very basic information
about Board meetings. So yes, "Sharp Worker. SHARI KEEP ON KEEPING ON."

Shell is foreign owned.  Seems to me that most big oil employees are more liberal than people connected to smaller operators.  Wouldn't you agree?

This week's Kansas election pretty much indicates that "conservatism" is not welcome in the Republican Party.  If elected officials are not spending money or giving it away, then they'll be replaced by real Republicans - liberals that is.  A real Republican identifies with someone like Obama or Hillary, not a conservative.  I like to say that Hillary is a Republican and that's about all I lnow about her.

Ross, keep stating your opinions so we can read the Republican responses.   I'm thinking there's many Elk County people who agree with you.
