PASSING OF PAUL E. NILES

Mr. Paul E Niles, 68, of Longton,  died unexpectedly in the middle of gentle laughter, at home with his beloved wife Pamela Munsinger Niles.   he accepted the city's offer to repair the streets, and he became the ''Longton Streets Dept'' from Feb 2005 until his July 2006 death.  he was a lifelong IL huntsman, renowned tracker, and coonhunter.    He had also been a Road Comm in IL for 19 years.   Paul was a Combat Engineer in Korea,  as well as an IL cattle rancher, farmer and owned significant horse stables.  He taught scores of young men who worked for him and who went on to become prosperous and safe Heavy Equipment Operators, and as they all pay tribute to him: ''For him, nothing was Impossible.''
