Arizona GOP censures McCain for 'disastrous' record

You know what they say about "birds of a feather." Well, recently, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham was censured for the seventh time, and in his own home county. His comrade in the United States Senate, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) has now been formally censured by the Arizona Republican Party with a resolution condemning him "for his continued disservice to our state and nation."

On Saturday, January 26, 2014, McCain was censured for his voting record. A gathering of 1,300 Republicans gathered at Grace Community Church in Tempe, and the event included Gov. Jan Brewer, Rep. Matt Salmon and Sen. Andy Biggs.

AZCentral.com reports:
http://www.azcentral.com/news/politics/articles/20140125arizona-republican-party-mccain-censure-gop.html?nclick_check=1

"Delivering a strong rebuke to U.S. Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republicans passed a resolution to censure the one-time presidential nominee for what they characterize as a liberal record that has been "disastrous and harmful" to the state and nation.

While McCain is a political star on the national stage, for years he has had to contend with vocal critics in his home state, who accuse him of betraying the Grand Old Party's principles.

Saturday's censure came two weeks after the Maricopa County Republican Party passed a resolution to censure the senator on a 1,150-to-351 vote.

The state GOP party's censure passed by acclamation, meaning by a voice vote. It has no practical effect, but serves as an attempt to embarrass the senator."

The resolution stated in part:

"Only in times of great crisis or betrayal is it necessary to publicly censure our leaders. Today we are faced with both. For too long we have waited, hoping Senator McCain would return to our Party's values on his own. That has not happened."

Though the censure says that McCain's voting record has been "disastrous and harmful," former Senate minority whip John Kyl told called the resolution "wacky."

"I've gone to dozens of these meetings and every now and then some wacky resolution gets passed," Kyl, the former Senate minority whip told The Arizona Republic. "But most people realize it does not represent the majority of the vast numbers of Republicans."

Kyl then touted McCain as being favored by the people since he has constantly been re-elected.

"Do these guys ever get elected? It's John McCain who gets elected," Kyl said. "To say that John McCain doesn't work with Republicans, doesn't have a conservative voting record – that's just baloney. I served with him in the Senate for 18 years, 26 years all together, and we didn't always vote alike, but his record is very conservative. It's just wacky to say otherwise."

McCain spokesman Brian Rogers declined to comment on the censure.

Though Kyl claims that McCain's voting record is "very conservative," the Heritage Action scorecard for McCain reveals something different. In fact, it shows that McCain votes only 43% conservative. That's almost 25% behind the Senate Republican average.

However, it isn't just McCain's voting record that should be suspect. Last year, McCain was called a traitor by Marine Blaine Cooper. Cooper said if he had the authority, he would have John McCain arrested for treason....

...Cooper explained that his reasons were due to McCain's support of America's enemies in Syria, even going so far as to have his picture made with our enemies. It was rather reminiscent of Hanoi Jane Fonda. How Ironic!

While some think of this as nothing more than "infighting" in the Republican Party, nothing could be further from the truth. The issue for the Republican Party is quite simple. The Party is going to have to determine whether or not they are going to promote lawbreakers or oath keepers, whether they have men of character and will follow the law, or whether we will have men sell out to the highest bidder, regardless of what it does to the people they are supposed to represent.

While the GOP at large has declared war on Tea Party conservatives, I'm glad to see that the Tea Party isn't going to take it on the chin. They're taking the fight to the establishment and this is evidence of that movement.

Whistleblower: Obuma Was Indonesian Citizen & Given Financial Aid As Foreign Student At Occidental College

by tim Brown on Aug 7, 2013

Dr. Orly Taitz has been pushing the Barack Obama eligibility issue for some time now. She has sought to go specifically through the court system and back in February she attempted to press the Supreme Court to move to oral arguments on Obama's eligibility to hold the office of president of the United States. She is also one that questions the motives of Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Mike Zullo in their investigation. In June she presented additional information to the Superior Court of California in the Fourth District Court of Appeals in the case of Taitz v. Obama, Feinstein, Emken (The case number is G047746 and the Superior Court case number is 30-2012-00582135), in which she is seeking to have Barack Obama produce his registration record at Occidental College.

According to a press release from Orly Taitz:
http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/?p=425841

A whistle-blower from Higher Education Services Corporation in Albany New York came forward and advised Attorney Orly Taitz that she personally reviewed Barack Obama's financial aid information, which stated that financial aid was given to Obama as foreign student and as a citizen of Indonesia.
In the original case there were over 100 pages that documented that Barack Obama was a citizen of Indonesia at the time he attended Occidental and that he has used fraudulent means to secure Identification.

However, Superior Court Judge Charles Marginis ruled in favor of Occidental College and denied Taitz's motion to force them to produce Obama's college registration forms.

Kathleen O'Leary, the Chief Judge of the Fourth District Court of Appeals, then re-instated the appeal.

In Taitz's press release she writes, "Additionally, Obama failed to submit the Appellee's brief in Taitz v Obama, Feinstein, Emken. This is an appeal, which was reinstated by the Chief Judge of the Fourth District Court of Appeal Kathleen O'Leary. Appellant Taitz filed her Appellant's brief."

"Appellees failed to file an Appellees' brief," the press release continued. "They were given additional 15 days and they failed again. Attorney Taitz submitted a notice of failure by Appellees to file an Appellee's brief and provided the court with this additional information, as part of the appeal revolves around the decision by the Superior Court judge Charles Marginis to rule in favor of the Occidental college and deny a motion to compel production of a redacted   college registration for Obama in light of over a 100 pages of records showing Obama to be a citizen of Indonesia using forged and fraudulently obtained IDs."

As a result, Taitz submitted the new information to the Superior Court claiming "Whistleblower wrote for Taitz in her own handwriting her first and last name, her work e-mail address, her personal e-mail address and her home and cell phone numbers."

"Taitz did her due diligence and independently verified that the whistleblower is indeed employed by the Higher Education Services Corporation in Albany, New York" Taitz's submittal read. "She further checked that Obama transferred from the Occidental college to Columbia University in New York and his financial aid would indeed be handled by the Higher Education Services Corporation in Albany, New York (Hereinafter HESC). Whistleblower advised Taitz that the policy of the HESC is no to destroy records and microfilm is contained in the safe of the corporation. She further advised Taitz that several employees of the HESC made copies of the microfilm, in case the management decides to destroy the evidence. She came forward, as she is concerned about fraud being committed and the fact that as a citizen of Indonesia Obama was not eligible to be the president of the United States."

A sword declaration was also attached, as you can see here:
http://cdn.freedomoutpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Taitz-v-Obama-CA-4th-additional-information-1.pdf

Ms. Taitz say that the information provided should weigh in her favor in granting an appeal. Moreover, if further evidence confirms this information and attorney for Occidental college knew that Obama's registration, application and financial aid show him registered as a foreign student and a citizen of Indonesia, then they would have knowingly been committing treason against the people of the United States of America and were aiding and abetting the most egregious fraud in the history of the US.

I wonder why those who have made copies of the microfilm have not simply pitched it into the hands of someone like Taitz. In either case, I'm sure the Obama administration has put its NSA ears to the ground around HESC now and employees can rest assured they are being monitored.

Barack Obama has spent millions of dollars to keep his records from the public eye? Why? Isn't he the man that said, "The only people that don't want to disclose the truth, are people with something to hide?" Again, how hard is it for Obama to simply produce the documentation, not a forged digital image on the web, and put to rest the allegations? If I were in the position, that's exactly what I would do and demonstrate the foolishness of the claim, but when someone goes to great expense and lengths to keep information hidden, it only lends credibility to the charges leveled against him, especially in light of his past and his time in office.

Assad Punks Obama, Syria Gives Up Less Than 5% of Its Chemical Weapons Arsenal

Obama looks like a fool . . . again.

(Reuters) – Syria has given up less than 5 percent of its chemical weapons arsenal and will miss next week's deadline to send all toxic agents abroad for destruction, sources familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

The deliveries, in two shipments this month to the northern Syrian port of Latakia, totaled 4.1 percent of the roughly 1,300 tonnes of toxic agents reported by Damascus to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), said the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

"It's not enough and there is no sign of more," one source briefed on the situation said.

The internationally backed operation, overseen by a joint OPCW-United Nations mission, is now 6-8 weeks behind schedule. Damascus needs to show it is still serious about relinquishing its chemical weapons, the sources told Reuters.

Failure to eliminate its chemical weapons could expose Syria to sanctions, although these would have to be supported in the U.N. Security Council by Russia and China, which have so far refused to back such measures against President Bashar al-Assad.

The deal under which Syria undertook to eliminate its chemical arsenal stopped the United States and its allies from launching bombing raids to punish Assad for a chemical attack last August and made clear the limits to international action against him.

#2375

After listening to the President's 2014 State of The Union speech, there were three things that came to mind: Either he has gone completely insane, become completely detached from reality, or he is deliberately out to destroy our country.

Since he gets regular medical checkups, he's definitely not crazy.

We know the President gets constant briefings on happenings both at home and abroad, so he cannot possibly be unaware of the actual State of The Union.

This only leaves the third most plausible explanation which is he is out to destroy the country.
Everything the President said in this speech was detrimental to this nation in every way and complete fabrication of what is best for the country.

His claim of the unemployment situation being better now than it has been in the last 5 years is a total farce.

The reality is the number of people unemployed today is near the same as it was some 5 years ago and possibly a bit higher. The numbers, of course, look slightly better now than then, but this is only because people currently on unemployment are counted. If the percentage included all who were unemployed such as those still not working who have used up their benefits long ago and those who aren't working that never got unemployment benefits, the actual number would be closer to 30%.

Try telling job seekers in California, New Mexico, or Ohio, for instance, that the unemployment picture is brighter today. At the risk of getting slapped, at the very least you would be labeled a lunatic.

Interestingly, the President's answer to creating more jobs is tied into his environmental aspirations of transforming the country from a primarily fossil fuel based economy to a cleaner natural gas and renewable energy society. This can never be achieved, primarily because of the tremendous costs involved in the conversion as well as the fact that renewable energy sources such as wind power and solar end up employing less than 20 people per multimillion dollar project after completion. This also doesn't take into consideration the fact that wind power only produces less than 1% of 1% of electricity to the grid and solar only around 20%. The inefficiency of wind and solar energy along with their high cost in subsidies and in the form of electric bills will actually make it harder for people to survive who are strapped for money, during this 5 year long recession.

The President's idea of high tech jobs will be more costly than the country can afford since we are already some 4 trillion in debt. Thus, any opportunity that requires government assistance is an impossibility since the country is already bankrupt.

The President's answer for improving the economy also gives citizenship to millions of illegal aliens. Only someone out to destroy the economy would import millions of workers to an already devastated economic situation.

The President's claim that the debate is over in regards to climate change is a ridiculous statement since actual weather, climate, and geophysical records completely destroy the bogus computer models issued by UN climate based organizations. The whole global warming/climate change claim is made from individuals who are not qualified to make any assertions on climate since they are not meteorologists, only environmentalists masquerading as such.

The President's claim that parts of the US coasts are being flooded by rising seas is erroneous. Just where are these flooded coastal areas, Mr. President?
The claim of drought devastation in California and other parts of the western US is deception in all its glory since these parts of the country are natural desert areas and normally receive little precipitation.

The minimum wage raise to $10.10 per hour is a bad idea all around economically, since more workers will get laid off, have their hours cut, and those currently making $10.00 an hour will have to get paid more resulting in time cuts. This will happen because most businesses simply cannot afford to pay their minimum wage employees this amount and stay in business.

The President's promise to bypass Congress through Executive Order whenever he doesn't get what he wants amounts to Socialistic Dictatorship that cannot be tolerated in America. The course of Constitutional law must be adhered to.

In foreign policy, the President continues to legitimatize domestic spying and the need to fight terrorism. While all along helping the very terrorist organizations at home and abroad with financial support, arms, and actual military intervention. It is a complete fabrication for the President to state his concerns about terrorism and the need to fight it, while he is helping them in all corners of the world.

What this State of The Union speech really tells us is we have a president, who will stop at nothing in his quest to destroy the very country he is leading.

We have dangerous elements in Washington that must be purged from power from the Oval Office to the very bottom and the Constitution restored as the law of the land.

True.  However, Obama is an exact reflection of the Republican Party.  It's not difficult to understand that the true basis of the Republican Party is socialism and tyranny.

We should know that Republican Party is the party of Abraham Lincoln.  Lincoln and the Republicans did not "save the union", they changed the union.  That's building on 150 years of increasing socialism and tyranny in the united States of America.

California Figures Out How To Effectively Disarm Law-Abiding Citizens

January 30, 2014 by Eric Reed

At the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Benjamin Franklin said "We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately." Remember that quote as you read this article my friends, because California has effectively figured out how to disarm its law-abiding citizens through their new micro-stamping law!

Essentially if a firearms manufacturer makes any changes to a gun that's already acceptable in California, no matter how minor of a change it may be, that gun falls off the approved list. This requires the firearms manufacturer to start the approval process all over again from step 1. Minor improvements are made to firearms constantly, and none of these changes effect the functionality of the weapons in any way, shape, or form. California doesn't seem to understand that though, so they classify the weapon as "unsafe" for their state. There is however, a convenient clause that exempts law enforcement from these regulations.

That being said, Ruger and Smith & Wesson have already publicly stated that due to this laws lunacy, they're going to be unable to comply with these new restrictions. So as these semi automatic handguns fall off the list, the list will shrink down to nothing within a few years, making the semi automatic pistol truly a "ghost gun." Perhaps Sen. Kevin De Leon really did know what he was talking about.

All joking aside, quite recently Ruger CEO Michael Fifer was interviewed. Please listen to the video below, and pay very close attention to what Mr. Fifer says between 2:35 to 4:00 into the interview.

As former law enforcement, allow me to answer your question Mr. Fifer. You ask if you should deny weapons to the Sheriff's who are basically good people, just because the law-abiding California citizens can't own it? THE ANSWER IS YES! These are weapons that the wonderful California law makers have deemed as "unsafe!" If they're not safe for a husband protecting his wife, a mother protecting her children, or a father protecting his family, then WHY are they safe for anybody else in California? This includes law enforcement. Surely there lives are not valued higher than any other law-abiding Californian.

I could only hope that one, JUST ONE firearms manufacturer would take a stand. California wrote and passed a ridiculous law. I get that. This law joins the ranks with 10,000 other ludicrous laws. But this happens because we let them. If California LEO's weapons supply's start drying up, what do you think the police officers union would have to say about that? Could they pressure law makers to repeal the law? Maybe, maybe not. But if manufacturers continue to supply "unsafe" weapons to California LEO's, the only one to suffer will be the law-abiding Californian. Not the LEO's, and certainly not the criminals.

So I go back to the wise words from Benjamin Franklin at the beginning of this article. Those words hundreds of years later still ring with truth. If America (and California for that matter) can't stand as one loud patriotic voice, we will assuredly hang separately. I'm Eric Reed https://facebook.com/EricReedGRAA, and may god bless America.

Third Banker,
Former Fed Member,
"Found Dead"
Inside A Week
by Tyler Durden on 01/31/2014 20:05 -0500

If the stock market were already crashing then it would be simple to blame the dismally sad rash of dead bankers in the last week on that - certainly that was reflected in 1929. However, for the third time in the last week, a senior financial executive has died in what appears to be a suicide. As Bloomberg reports, following the deaths of a JPMorgan senior manager (Tuesday) and a Deutsche Bank executive (Sunday), Russell Investments' Chief Economist (and former Fed economist) Mike Dueker was found dead at the side of a highway in Washington State. Police said the death appeared to be a suicide.

Via Bloomberg,

Mike Dueker, the chief economist at Russell Investments, was found dead at the side of a highway that leads to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington state, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. He was 50.

He may have jumped over a 4-foot (1.2-meter) fence before falling down a 40- to 50-foot embankment, Pierce County Detective Ed Troyer said yesterday. He said the death appeared to be a suicide.

Dueker was reported missing on Jan. 29, and a group of friends had been searching for him along with law enforcement. Troyer said Dueker was having problems at work, without elaborating.

Dueker was in good standing at Russell, said Jennifer Tice, a company spokeswoman. She declined to comment on Troyer's statement about Dueker's work issues.

But as Michael Snyder noted recently, if the stock market was already crashing, it would be easy to blame the suicides on that.  The world certainly remembers what happened during the crash of 1929...

Historically, bankers have been stereotyped as the most likely to commit suicide. This has a lot to do with the famous 1929 stock market crash, which resulted in 1,616 banks failing and more than 20,000 businesses going bankrupt.

The number of bankers committing suicide directly after the crash is thought to have been only around 20, with another 100 people connected to the financial industry dying at their own hand within the year.

Dueker had also been a research economist at the St. Louis Fed:

He published dozens of research papers over the past two decades, many on monetary policy, according to the St. Louis Fed's website, which ranks him among the top 5 percent of economists by number of works published. His most-cited work was a 1997 paper titled "Strengthening the case for the yield curve as a predictor of U.S. recessions," published by the reserve bank while he was a researcher there.

So, with stocks a mere 4% off their highs, are so many high ranking and well respected bankers committing suicide?

Steve Stockman: "I'm Considering Filing Articles of Impeachment" – It's Time to Put Up or Shut Up

Steve Stockman is potentially the most indignant member of congress, which is exactly why I like him. He obviously doesn't play the game of "good ole' boys" that so many do. Though this man goes largely unnoticed in the public eye, I have tried many times to give him a boost because I think we need more like him.

He was one of a small handful of Republicans to vote against John Boehner for Speaker. This is the man who exposed the Obama Administration for utilizing spambots in their anti-gun campaign. He proudly and openly passed out (third party) copies of articles of impeachment in the House. Stockman is one of the few who seem to understand the origination clause and threatened blue slips more than once to stop Senate bills. He is even one of the only members of our entire legislature who has shown any interest at all in the Obama Birth Certificate forgery.

At the same time, although I like Steve Stockman and hope he can defeat John Cornyn in the 2014 senate race, he is starting to develop a reputation of "all bark and no bite." I suppose that reputation fits nearly every one of our elected servants so I mean nothing personal by that, but Steve Stockman is the one man I feel that can be something truly special.

Stockman, never to be accused of being shy, did a little self-promotion on Facebook yesterday:

The story mentions Stockman walking out of the State of the Union address and again mentions the "I" word.

The Washington Times article reports:

Mr. Stockman said Mr. Obama has repeatedly broken his oath of office to uphold the Constitution, and in response, he's seriously mulling legal action.

"I'm considering filing Articles of Impeachment against Barack Obama," he wrote on his website, as reported by The Blaze.

This isn't the first time the Texas congressman has broached the issue.

"Last year, I said I would consider impeachment as a last resort to stop Obama's abuse of power," he said, The Blaze reported. "And quite frankly, we're running out of options."

Indeed this is not the first time that he has broached the issue. I called his office last year to give my support.

At this point I don't care about the strategy of Impeachment. I honestly don't even care if it works because it probably won't. At one point the argument was that it would be successful in the House and the Senate would fail to convict. Honestly I am not even sure it would pass the House. All you have to do is look at how the House has been voting lately to see that the lower chamber is full or RINOs.

What a lot of Americans want is simply to see one man (or woman) who has the courage to try to do what is right. That's it. Just do your job. If a person tries and fails we can live with that because we understand how the deck is stacked.

What we are tired of is men and women who get our hopes up and do not follow through. So it's time to put up or shut up for Stockman in my opinion.

We are waiting to hang our hopes on men of honor and not men who are all talk and no action. Those are the types of men who built this country and those are the types it will take to rebuild it.

It's time to put Steve Stockman's feet to the fire. He may be the only man with the guts to do it so if you want to see Articles of Impeachment officially introduced then please call one of his offices (or all four) at:
