I just learned this yesterday from Jim. Conlon, also known as BC, was a nice person to me. I don't know how he treated anyone else. Sorry to hear of his death.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I don't get on here very much anymore because, well, you know. Thank you again.

Jarhead, you are correct that it was on Charlie Thomas' place in 1989. Pilot ejected and was safe.  Live ammo on that plane, too. I don't remember if we had much of a pasture fire in 1989, but we certainly didn't stay in the area at all. I didn't even go to the crash site. I stayed up on the road at the gate until the AF got there. The pilot of the 1989 crash was taken to Flint Oak and an AF helicopter landed there to transport him back to McConnell. Those were the days. LOL

Things just happen. Prayers for all the military, the emergency medical workers, and the law enforcement officers that are working with this crash.

i am pretty sure that I printed that program off and took it out to Carmalita. I am sure we visited about it, but that conversation has left this old mind.

I don't know what it was, but it didn't take very long for it to get through the county. It came south on K-99 then went west on U-160.

Ah, you guys. You are so sweet. Thank you for the birthday wishes. I don't get on here very often anymore because I am just so hooked on facebook. LOL I will try to get on here more. And just so you know, I am not a day over 59 and 6 days old.

I sure miss a lot of birthdays but that isn't new. My family will tell you the same thing. Anyway, happy birthday to each and everyone of you who have had birthdays throughout the year. If you didn't have a birthday, then how sad for you. LOL

What a wonderful tribute to someone who was a very nice man.
