It would just break my heart for a pharmaceutical company to lose any money. ::)

First, I am not a farmer, I am a rancher.

Any rancher worth a damn would be there to collect his animal in short order. If a neighbor has an animal in my pasture, I call them, determine which neighbor it belongs to, catch it in a pen if I can and they come load it up, or they send in a cowboy to rope it and get it in a trailer.

I can't believe they would send someone to just shoot it. Then what? They don't just disappear.

If they don't want to go to the effort to reclaim it, then it must be a bag of bones on its last legs.

I would call the sheriff and explain the situation. If the owner won't keep it home or come after it, I would say it is all yours.

It is a common occurence that cows and calves and bulls , stray. Everyone I know is glad to get them back home. We lose enough to coyotes, illness, weather and rustlers.

This sounds kinda fishy to me.

Good one. A message the signers of the Declaration told the world, though a majority of them sacrificed their wealth and their lives for it or lived out their lives in poverty.

It is not simply a message of bondage.

Glad you included Linda and Bonnie. They, along with Emmy Lou are my favorites. I have most of Linda's albums. Loved listening to "Willin" when I was driving a reefer hauling meat to the east coast. Didn't drink wine while driving, but made two runs to New York in one week thanks to some black beauties. She did so many great songs yet had her ability cut short by Parkinson's.

If you are familiar with Wichita in the "old" days, it was one of a few places, cool and dark, to have a pitcher of beer and watch some pretty girls in bikini's dance.  8)    It was on the lower level of Parklane shopping center.

I had heard a few things Goodman did, but he wasn't around very long. I always thought he sounded a bit like Jim Croce, or vice versa. He certainly made Arlo a good deal of money.

For some reason, this one popped into my head today. A gal at the PK lounge used to always dance to it.
