Politics / Election Results Questions
April 02, 2013, 08:43:00 PM
It is amazing that the unofficial election results have already been posted, making them more or less official, without any write-in candidates, such as myself, getting to know how many votes they had received. It was my understanding that if you receive more than 3 votes, it would be published. It concerns me why none of the other votes or write-in's could be published when they were putting up the tallies for the incumbents or other winners, such as our Mayor, who ran as a write-in himself. Did you leave your mac and cheese burning or just plain don't care about election RESULTS? If so, step down and let other people do the job! Maybe I'll come up tomorrow and get the full election results and publish them for you since you cannot do your job. ----Robert L. Walker

Politics / 2nd-grader suspended over imaginary grenade
February 05, 2013, 06:54:13 PM
A seven-year-old boy was suspended from his elementary school for using an imaginary grenade while playing "Rescue the World" on the playground.

The story was featured on Fox 31 Denver. Second-grader Alex Evans pretended to throw a grenade into a box full of, in his words, "pretend evil forces."

"I pretended the box, there's something shaking in it, and I go pshhh," Alex explained.

Unfortunately for Alex, his exploits (heroic as they were) went against Mary Blair Elementary School rules. Those rules include no fighting (real or pretend) and no weapons (real or pretend).

Alex's mom commented that she doesn't think the rule is practical. "Honestly I don't think the rule is very realistic for kids this age," Mandie Watkins said. "I think that when a child is trying to save the world, I don't think he should be punished for it."

Alex is just as perplexed as his mom. "I was trying to save people and I just can't believe I got dispended," he told Fox 31.

A similar incident took place last month in Pennsylvania when a fifth-grade girl was reprimanded by school officials for bringing a piece of paper in the shape of gun to class.

Yet just another example of some stupid son of a bitch, dare I say Liberal, with an overactive imagination of their own. Their imaginations are usually perverse and just downright disgusting. It's been going on long enough with the ignorant liberals teaching our children. Can anyone say indoctrination? ---Robert L. Walker

January 25, 2013, 09:23:38 PM

From January 22, 2011

Obama does not give a damn about the United States Constitution, but how could anyone give a damn about the fundamentals of the U.S. Constitution being raised by Barack Obama from Kenya, Africa, being possibly born there, damn sure raised in Indonesia? There's nobody out there that knows one damn thing about this man other than he is hellbent to destroy America!---Robert

http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/kindergartner-suspended-over-bubble-gun-threat-174618051--abc-news-topstories.html

A 5-year-old girl was suspended from school earlier this week after she made what the school called a "terrorist threat."

Her weapon of choice? A small, Hello Kitty automatic bubble blower.

The kindergartner, who attends Mount Carmel Area Elementary School in Pennsylvania, caught administrators' attention after suggesting she and a classmate should shoot each other with bubbles.

"I think people know how harmless a bubble is. It doesn't hurt," said Robin Ficker, an attorney for the girl's family. According to Ficker, the girl, whose identity has not been released, didn't even have the bubble gun toy with her at school.

The kindergartner was ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation during her 10-day suspension, which was later reduced to two days. The evaluation deemed the girl normal and not a threat to others, Ficker said.

A bubble gun..Are they freakin kidding me? How stupid is this? How paranoid is this country? This is ridiculous. I'm not one for suing people, but I say to the parents, go to town on this school district! She didn't even have the TOY with her at school! MORONS! Let kids be kids and stop making them grow up so damned fast!--Jennifer

Politics / New Ambassador Coming Soon
December 04, 2012, 06:24:15 PM
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2242660/Anna-Wintour-US-Vogues-editor-British-embassy-thank-Obama.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

Anna Wintour is being tipped to become the next US ambassador to Britain.

The UK-born editor of US Vogue was one of Barack Obama's most high profile fundraisers and is in line to top a shortlist being drawn up for him.

A decision is expected within weeks about who will replace the outgoing ambassador Louis Susman.

Miss Wintour donated tens of thousands of dollars to the US President's election campaign and helped raised another $500,000.

Just because Ms. Wintour was able to find enough material to cover Moochelle Obama's ass doesn't automatically qualify her to be an ambassador. But I suppose, that if you raise hundreds of thousands of dollars (maybe even millions as according to Diane Sawyer) to re-elect Barack Hussein Obama, you can be appointed Ambassador to France or Great Britain. Not suggesting that the thousands or millions of campaign funds had anything to do with it and why France or Great Britain? There is a vacancy in Benghazi, Libya. I'm sure she'd be just as safe there! After all, the Arab Spring is over; Bin Laden is dead; Obama has solved world hunger; everyone has a high paying, stress-free job, new house and car; and according to the liberal morons reading this, the sun rises and sets in his ass.---Mr. R. The Coffee Shop / Northern Lights Last Week??
November 19, 2012, 10:43:52 PM
Was I still asleep last week around Wednesday 2 a.m. when there was a yellow-greenish glow in the sky? I believe it was the northern lights but I haven't heard anyone else say they've seen it so I was just wondering if I was dreaming or need to seek medical attention for a brain tumor---Robert

While most of the petitions come from states that supported Mitt Romney in last week's election, a few swing states and even the deep blue Northeast are represented and seeking to withdraw from the United States to create their own governments.

Petitions have been filed for Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
For example:

"We petition the Obama Administration to peacefully grant the State of Alabama to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own new government," reads the Alabama petition.

-- and --

"Peacefully grant the State of Tennessee to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government."

Of course, this is mostly a symbolic gesture.  The odds of the American government granting any state permission to go its own way is not very likely.
