No Marine, you do not need to abandon your life - again. You have options. You can say, "Sir, No Sir". If enough of the military had the stones to do likewise, to see and understand options, the entire war dialogue would change. And change starts with one person.
While Major General Butler believed taking profit out of war was the only way to end foreign intervention, it is also possible to end the military industrial state simply by refusing to be a pawn in the game. Do not do the biddings of the rich and powerful.
