Back before my dad passed away in 1996, he asked me to see that his boys were cared for if anything should happen. My Mom passed in 2002, so Ted and I brought home their two boys. They had been puppies from the same litter although they look nothing alike. This coming Saturday, May22, they will be celebrating their 18th birthday, quite a feat for any old dog, but I have never heard of litter mates attaining such an age together. So, Happy Birthday to Scott and Rowdy! And many more!
