Oops - 'bout forgot the Scholars Bowl kids.
West Elk hosted a Junior High Scholars Bowl meet Monday, the 22nd. Our Varsity came in 1st in their division. The "B" team came in first in their division, and the "C" team came in 3rd. Woohoo!!!
Dean Baum is the sponsor of the Junior High Scholars Bowl team.
The meet Monday also had quite a few local people helping out as moderators, judges and scorekeepers.
I really think that trite phrase "A good time was had by all" would truly apply here.
What good news to see so many students involved in these competitions and being so successful! Mr. Baum has certainly done a great job of getting this program up and rolling with lots of participation in just a few years. Congratulations to all!
