This is the most cool thing ever...
If I look away, she switches from one direction to the other.
I can actually hold her right in mid-switch. I love it!
I also find that if I just look at her feet, she will switch direction!
I can easily see both ways.... but mostly clockwise.
Which way does she move for you?
If you see this lady turning in clockwise,
You are using your right brain.
If you see it the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.
See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain's current

BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN
Experimentation has shown that the two different sides,
Or hemispheres, of the brain are responsible for different
Manners of thinking. The following table illustrates the
Differences between left-brain and right-brain thinking:
Left Brain Right Brain
Logical Random
Sequential Intuitive
Rational Holistic
Analytical Synthesizing
Objective Subjective
Looks at parts Looks at wholes
Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these
Styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole brained
And equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to
favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the
Right-brain ones.
Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis,
And accuracy.
Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aesthetics,
Feeling, and creativity.
I am a left-brainer..................
At first I was a left brainier -- I scrolled down and read Karen's response and returned and I was right..............
go figure --- I changed in mid stream... often !!

So that's where I get the genetic strand of craz... errr.. flexible changeability.. yeah.. that's what I was gonna say.. ::)
When I first looked at she was moving counter clockwise... I scrolled down to read the rest, looked again and she was going clockwise. ???
She only goes clockwise for me.
Oops, now she has turned around for me in the other direction, so maybe I have a whole brain after all--who knows?
At first, she moved counter-clockwise. When I began to scroll down the page, she began turning clockwise. So I watched a while and it was back and forth. I suppose that means I'm a "whole brain" but most people would agree I'm a more of a harebrain. And after watching that twirling gir for a while, I'm definitely dizzy.
I'd seen this before, and "she" only moved clockwise. But, now, she's moving in both directions for me, too. Go figure!
clockwise..........when I got it to change directions it made my head hurt :P wonder what that means LOL
This morning she was going clockwise, but when I scrolled up to her waist she changed direction. What does that mean? That my top half is one thing and the bottom half another?
If she doesn't move at all are you a no brainer? I can do both, almost at will ,no surprise. But then we all know how weird I am.
She goes right for a while ....then left. Does that mean I'm very confused?
Something that hasn't been mentioned is the possibility that the image was designed to "turn" in one direction for a period of time, then switch directions. I don't want to be a bubble-buster, but it could be that this particular "test" has less to do with right or left brain dominance and more to do with human gullibility.
Nope.. I don't think so indy.. I can stare at here for 10 minutes and she never switches.. then I can make her switch at my will... Kinda cool actually..
I feel I have "super powers".. hahaha
I might agree with indygal.... I watched her for a few minutes yesterday and she almost stopped and changed directions. I didn't say anything about it at the time because I didn't want to bust anyones bubble.
I don't know but I've watched that babe until I got dizzy and fell out of my chair and she only goes clockwise for me, but the wife was watching over my shoulder and for her it would switch directions every couple of turns. Then she thinks I'm trying to play mind games with her because I can't see the switch. I'm really starting to hate this stupid thing---but I will watch her one more time !!!

Pam, That means your brain has right hand threads. Changing directions is stripping the threads in your brain. You better quit before you become a Liberal (that's a joke ) :)
I looked at with both eyes then I closed my left and looked at it with the right, then I changed and closed the right and looked at it with the left and she changed directions almost everytime I changed the eyes.
Frank
if it has done nothing more ... it certainly has kept a bunch of adults occupied.. ;D ;D
Teresa,
I think Frank is looking at her with just one eye because Myrna caught him looking at that babe for hours on end, and she dotted his eyes for him. One eye is swelled shut !!
I have the same thing as Jarhead's wife when I just watch unattached to the outcome. She will change if I tell my brain right or left.

You old rascal, you are ornery. That is discrimination against and old man, where is that Canadian Mountie forum policeman, he may get you for that.
She does both right and left for me. However; it's only when I look down to read something and when I look back she has changed directions. Very strange thing.
