Okay you red-blooded Americans...let's see how you do on this test... 24 out of 30 is considered a passing grade.
Supposedly 96% of all high school Seniors FAILED this test. AND if that's not bad enough, 50% + of all individuals over 50 did too!!
Take the test and be surprised at what we know~~ or in my case... what I don't know. :-\
I only got 20 right.. I sucked!

Smart ass~ :P
Well, at least part of me is smart. I'm ashamed of the four I missed, I should have known one or two of those.
Larryj
27 correct, two of the ones I missed were on ammendments to the constitution, the other one I should have gotten. :P
One of the questions I missed was the one on the number of states. I tried to put 57.
Not very good, just 26 correct.
23 and I think that is pretty good for a person who has been out of school for 62 years.
27 correct. Guesss I need to brush up a little.
I got 29 right.
Hey Waldo, I would've missed how many states there are too, but there wasn't the answer of 57! Damn! I probably missed the number of US Senators question! There should be 100, not 114!! That's what we get for listening to our current president! I was under the false impression that he knows it all!
29, but I would question the one about the mayor. In Commonwealths towns can be Burroughs and the head is a Burgess. Kennett Square, where I went to high school was such.
I got a 36 !!!! Why hells bells, if everyone else is gonna pad their score sheet I just as well jump on the band wagon. Like the every day Joe knows that stuff about the amendments.
Honest Ron
Are you kidding? After all the whoo-haa on here about the Constitution, I had reread that stuff about a zillion times and it stuck. I had one that was a lucky guess, missed one and the rest I really knew.
Jarhead, some were just learnin' while some were just talkin' ;D ;D ;D
Come on, Jar, everyone knows marines can't count over twenty--(fingers and toes)!
Larryj
29! I missed No.#23. Correct answer:"Prohibiting the importing of liquor into States where it is illegal".....this is the one I should have got, according to Slappy and the sots at the 19th Hole.... came close to being barred for a week.
That's the same one I missed Warph! Imagine, a Walker missing a question about drinking...that just doesn't happen everyday! Priceless!
That one I knew because it was such an odd one it stuck in my head when I was rereading the amendments again after discussion on the forum.
No. 23? You all missed that one? That is the only one that made sense and could get ratified.
I wonder how Sarah Palin would do on that test. ;D
She might do okay with a few crib notes and five or six years! ::)
I'd guess Palin would get about 20 of them. Only 12 more than Obama would . And then only if he had his trusty teleprompter.
Jar, you are speaking about a professor of constitutional law. That is not done with a teleprompter. BTW, Palin uses/used a teleprompter when making speeches during the campaign. Her crib notes I was speaking about were for an interview. To my knowledge, President Obama has not used a teleprompter or crib notes during any interview. And I think 20 points may be very kind for Sarah Palin.
SDM,
You said you got 27 right. Why do you think you would do better than Palin ? Just curious . Obama is a Professor of Constitutional Law ? Maybe he had the title but does he have the credentials ? Just asking .

Jar, I am smarter than Palin any day of the week. Why would I want to pad a score that doesn't mean anything anyway? I am astounded that you would even suggest such a thing. Who in their right mind would do a political television interview and consult notes written in the palm of their hand? Yes, the president has credentials, graduate of Harvard Law school for one. Anything else? I would have answered before now, but this didn't show up in the unread postings, kind of like it tried to go down the drain. Maybe where it belonged.
SDM,
Yep down the drain or I should say down the toilet is where I belong most of the time so you get a point for being smart but smarter than Palin ?? I don't know either one of y'all so I"ll just have to take your word on that one. Still looks to me that the lady must be pretty damn sharp. Had a best seller even before it was released. Get's $100,000 or more for a speaking engagement. Have you never wrote a note on your hand ? I have so I must be a moron too. After watching film clips of the Big Zero giving a speech and his teleprompter quits, maybe he should have notes written on his hand so he didn't stand there blubbering like a fool. But what would I know because I only got 24 right on that test and a few were lucky guesses so I'll just slither away to Alaska to go moose hunting with Sarah !!!! Wish me luck---wink wink .
Good luck with your hunting. Have you bought your tickets to go hear Palin speak in Wichita? She needs the money you know. ;)
Don't need tickets Guns. After spending a week with Sarah up there moose hunting I will need a break from listening to her talk. Next trip I'm taking Frank to be the gun bearer---that is if Myrna doesn't care---but he has to take his own tent. Mine only sleeps two !!!
:D :D
Alls well that ends well. Enjoy the winter weather that is coming our way.

Jarhead I am just a little guy and won't take up much room, can't I sleep in the middle to keep warm.
Frank
Sorry Frank. I talked to Myrna and she said you could go but to have your buns home in time for supper. What a bummer, huh ? Wouldn't work anyway because I toss and turn at night and I might roll over and squash you like a bug, you being a little feller and all. No I think I'll take Sarge. As you can tell in his reply #6 in the"Homeland Security Loses A Lot of Guns" thread, that ol Sarge don't mind sleeping alone----among other things that he does alone.
Good grief! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Considering what I have read (interpreted) from that thread, I wouldn't wanna be sleeping it the same tent with him.
Larryj
Explain yourself Mr. Larry. You wouldn't sleep in a tent with Me, Sarge, Frank or Palin ? Oh I see you said "him " so does that mean you're open to sleeping with Palin but not share a tent with Sarge ?:)
LOL
Actually, I would prefer sleeping by myself in my own tent. However, since I once had an experience camping on the beach in a motorhome, borrowed from a friend, I don't even like sleeping in a tent anymore. After years of camping with tents and campstoves and lawn chairs, I have graduated to motels and even special trips to Vegas staying in the big casinos. I am not prejudiced against any of you, just would sleep in my own tent. However, if it came right down to it and I had to make a choice, it would probably be Palin being she is the only female.
Larryj
Jarhead, I thought since I am old, feeble and don't sleep much that I could visit with Sarah while you got some sleep. I just got in 3 rebuilt M-1 Carbines, you need to come down sometime and we can go to the firing range and try them out. The supplier just sent an e-mail yesterday that they had lots of ammunition in for the Garands and the carbines. I need to order some as it will go out fast.
