Does everyone have their snacks ready??? Are you in your colors to root for either KU or KSU????. Game is on and everyone should be ready for the showdown. May the best team win. 8) 8)

This matchup is nearly always a great game! We are really seeing some great Bball right now! Go Teams!!  :D PS, I look for Texas to make the big win this year, if not Kentucky.

the game was so good, I forgot to snack................I did not cheer for either team.
I wanted them both to win................I know, I know..there are no ties in basketball and that is
a "good thing". I just enjoy a good game and didn't care which one won.

I want a flag or a license plate that has both of the schools on it.

See, Topeka is hometown. My nephews graduated from KState and I have always enjoyed the campus of KU.
Like the museum. My family is devided.. almost like Republican and Democrats......just more fun!

What a good game-----------although I am a KU fan, I also think K-State's team has come so far and improved so much that I was cheering for both teams, too.  In actuality, it could have gone either way!!!!!  It's nice to see the players be such good sports regarding each other, too.

Whew.... KU almost took it on the chin.... very close game, the way it ought to be for two state rivals.

Speaking of great games today, how about my old team Georgetown beating Duke today.... Man, I love that!  Hey Duke...  :-*  my.... er... foot!

No. 7 Georgetown stuns No. 2 Villanova 103-90

My Hoyas are on the move again after getting beat by little ol' South Florida last wed. (which I still cannot believe).   Austin Freeman scored 25 points, Jason Clark had 24, and Georgetown forced 16 first-half turnovers in a 103-90 victory that ended No. 2 Villanova's 11-game winning streak.  The big test is on the 18th against No.#3 Syracuse.  Kansas... move over.... the Bulldogs want that No.#1 spot....  GO HOYAS!  GO BULLDOGS!

KU is still #1 but they need to play better. FYI the stats on KU and KSU!!!!!! KU 171 KSU 90 since 1907. Since everyone likes the tired quote "Red and Blue made purple", answer is yes we do. We still have one more game with KSU at Memorial ,will wait and see how that turns out.  8)

Those Wichita girls did kick our butts in overtime down here a couple of weeks ago.  I was cheering for the home team, but if we can't win, Kansas is always my next pick.

Our OU boys basketball team has really hit some big bumps in the road this year.  They are a talented group with such a gentle and intelligent coach, but something is not right with the chemistry.  Yesterday they thumped Texas which hopefully will give them some confidence as they go on a pretty tough schedule for the rest of the season.  Go SOONERS~~~~~

Question:  Why am I the only guy contributing to this thread ???

Answer:  Could it be that these knowledgeable women know more about basketball than do the men on this forum ???
              hmmmm.... how about it, guys

March Madness is going to be either extra good this year..............
or a bummer.
Won't our chests puff out if our favorite teams get to go to Final 4?
I know only one will win, but if a Big 12 team wins, I will be happy.

"Go Hawks!" Go Wildcats! Boy the thought of this is just mind blowing.

Warph, I was also wondering, "Where are all the men"?  Maybe I should say, the rest of the men.
