XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL
If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a
thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier
that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but
it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!
It is FREE and it only takes a second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?
Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to
know we are behind them.
This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you.
Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others
to do. We can never say enough thank you's.
Thanks for taking to time to support our military! ;D
KSH, that is a great idea, we will do it. In addition I will send your message to all 300 or so people in my e-mail address file. This is a really tough time of year for for our men and women in the Military and for their families as well. GOD BLESS ALL OF THOSE WHO SERVE THIS GREAT NATION AND PROTECT US FROM THE EVILS OF THE WORLD.
I, too sent a message. It was easy to do and I hope it blesses whoever reads it.
God bless you for the suggestion.
In 2004 my son was in the battle of fallujah and after 4 days of battle he and his entire platoon returned to base camp without injury. I even have footage from the first battle of him and his platoon fighting.
But that happened in November, and my mom and i and others sent a package to the entire platoon.
We baked chocolate chip cookies bought toiletries, vid games and other things to put in the package. Mom made 38 christmas stockings and stuffed all these items into them, and she embroidered each marines name onto each of the socks. We sent it to them and they got it about 2 days before christmas.
we even tossed in a santa hat. Josh took the hat and put it on and played santa.
They still have that stocking and every year think about that christmas.
Embroidered socks? Now that is special. What a nice thing to have done. With the local groups and family members sending gifts and cards and the big outfits like face book sending more than 100,000, the military should be swamped with good wishes and goodies.
