Post by: Janet Harrington on September 27, 2006, 08:53:06 PM
MARRIED
[/b]

At the home of the bride's mother in this city, at 6 a.m., Saturday, March 11, Mr. George Frederick Barrows of Piedmont and Miss Irma Ellen Hughs of Howard.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. Cullison, Miss Lenore Cullison playing the wedding march.
They took the morning train for Kansas City, in company with Mr. and Mrs. Grover Fooshee, where they will spend a week or two.
Mr. Barrows was in the mercantile business in Piedmont and is a fine business man and highly esteemed.  Mrs. Barrows has been one of our successful teachers and is a very handsome and popular young lady.  All wish them success.
