Title: Whats up with the traffic counters?

I noticed traffic counters across road 10, road 9 and other roads the other day. Whats up with that??

They have been all across the county.  Several days ago they were across Washington and Wabash streets in Howard.

As a former county commissioner, I can say that any application for state and federal road funds requires recent, verified traffic counts. KDOT normally sets up and monitors these counters.
