Above web site has several photo views of Elk, Chautauqua, Greenwood, and other southeast Kansas counties.
Nice, thanks for posting that.
Waldo, what a great site! Brought back a lot of memories! Thanks for posting it!!

That guy is good with a camera, lots of interesting pictures. I can remember playing basketball in the old school at Coyville that is in the Wilson County group.
In Chautauqua County there is a bridge over Otter Creek near Cedarvale that looks just like the old Otter Creek Bridge at Climax. Does anyone remember that old bridge? From the south side.
Yes, Mother, it does look like that old bridge at Climax, Kansas. I remember it very well.
Hi Janet...long time no read. It's nice to see your name on here.
Janet?
I do remember a girl named Janet.
Post more often, girl!
;)
The following site has oodles of pictures taken all over Kansas, but a lot of them are from the southern Flint Hills. They are photos taken on motorcycle tours of back roads, but not all of them actually have the cyclists in the frame.

A good gallery to start with is the following, which includes most of Hubble's Rubble:

Here's a fine view
And another. Marty liked it because it has the old windmill in the foreground...
Awesome! And this can be seen from your home?
The one of Howard is from our farm land south of town. The windmill picture we took on the way back from Manhattan last weekend, on the Rosalia road just north of 400. Marty told me that you can see the windmills from our farm on especially clear days early in the morning, but I haven't made it out there on one of "those" days yet.
Those are very nice photos, Joanna, THANK YOU for sharing.
Great to see these pictures. I am home sick for Kansas but have a family reunion to attend in Kentucky at the end of this month so I am saving for that. I need to do my Elk Co tour on my way to Wichita sometime in July.
