Yes, I know it's only in the 30's today, but you know spring is right around the corner when the Gurney's seed catalog comes in the mail! Nothing better to do on a cold day than dream of warm days and playing in the dirt!

I've been getting a steady stream of seed catalogs for the past month now. Along with the Murray McMurray Hatchery catalog. I go through and circle everything I want. And I love the $20 coupon Gurney's has!!
I have been watching the daffodils and other early spring risers starting to come up and look like they're going to want to bloom...I have also noticed that the trees are budded out tremendously (I can even see it with my poor eyesight! lol). Just hope that no fruit trees start to bloom in late Feb./early March...The last snow usually falls in the third or fourth week of March (although, I remember an April when we were fighting snow drifts! :-0!)
