The public's reaction has also forced a Hawaii lawmaker to re-evalute a policy he's maintained for 22 years.

I personally own a great variety of knives, a large portion of them pocket variety. OK...slap the handcuffs on me and put me away...If I'm put away one year for each knife, that should give me more than enough time to get my doctorate on the State's money...I'll get three squares a day and free room and board...Hey, put me away! lol
