The suggestions made at the end of the piece are interesting...wonder if they would work?  Probably not, since we need to have our monetary system enhance our ability to trade in other economic systems.  Still, it's an interesting idea.  Frank, what do you think?

Do you reckon that's why American jobs are going overseas?  That is, to enhance our "money system"?  Importation of foreign products gives us an opportunity to borrow more money from China to spend more here and to grow more debt.

You must be on to something there Cw.  But, I like Williams' idea as it's more like how this country ought to be.
