Title: 1942 Store Ads
Post by: genealogynut on August 25, 2006, 05:41:39 PM
These store ads were taken from the Howard Courant Citizen dated April 16, 1942.

Aren't these prices unbelievable?  ??? ???

I love to see old ads and the prices of things "back when".
sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... if we had only known then ... about how times would be now..............

weeeeelllll .....I think I would be rich and sipping on something cool and having my feet up watching the birds in a little cabin in the woods somewhere.. not having to think about doing a massage in an hour  or having a deadline of getting a newsletter out or paying the bills tonight.. LOL
