Welcome, gcrebel! Would that be Greenwood County rebel?
Hey, I like that one, catwoman. I was typing the same time you were, so we have two threads on this one. Maybe Teresa can put them together.
NAH...I just wrote on the other thread and requested that Teresa delete this thread...I like yours better!! :laugh: :laugh:
No, I like yours better.
Oh, for pete's sake...I vote mine out...yours is in...otherwise, the claws will come out! (hiss hiss)
Thank you for the welcome...actually, it is Garden Ciity Rebel.
so garden city rebel how did you find this sight
A friend had told me about the site some time ago, and then told me about the possible Confederate veteran mentioned the other day.
It is ironic someone thought the gc might have represented Greenwood County, as there were families with my surname (Ivey) that lived in Greenwood County, but I have not found a connection to them as of yet, though not ruling it out as both families came from Tennessee.
See, Catwoman, this thread has been chosen by the most important person involved. Teresa, do your job. Save this thread.
OK...the Cat is outnumbered! ::)
I think Teresa is out shooting.
Welcome, gcrebel. My sister, Patti, and I went to grade school with Ivey Whitmore. I think she was named Ivey for her mother's maiden name. That would have been Joann Whitmore. Does any of that ring a bell for your relatives?
