For those of you from up around Severy/Climax area, I have been told that Maurine Stuber passed away today. The last I knew, Dale went to see her, in the hospital, a week or 10 days ago fell and broke his hip and arm. Don't have an update on his condition. Was sad to hear of Maruine's passing.

So sorry to hear about Maurine Stuber. She was such a nice person, as is Dale. I had them on the mail route for almost twenty years before they moved to Eureka in the fall of 2005 due to their health. I think Maurine had Alzheimers disease. Dale had lost part of his arm in a farm accident in 1971, but got along rather well in spite of the fact. I miss them both - Dale is quite the character.
Yes, Maurine was a great lady! I can remember how much fun she was when she was helping out with things at school. I liked Dale too and went to school with a couple of the boys.
