Howard Courant-Citizen

I am positive that many of you have quite a few memories of Fred & Babe Rhodes.  Below is a newspaper clipping telling of the new opening of the Plaza Grill.

My sisters and I had a "sister's weekend" a couple weeks ago.  Our oldest sister had not been to Howard in quite a number of years.  After eating Sat. nite at Poplar Pizza, we decided to take a "tour".  Fran especially wanted to see the theatre and grill.  She was so disappointed when I told her it hadn't been there for years.  So many memories . . . . . ::) :)

Some of the best french fries I ever had, came from the Plaza Grill.     Also my mom and dad are in town for the class reunion,  so say hi to them if you see them

Amen to those fries. Uncle Guy took me there a few times and I remember being amazed at the "well" that had been created in the chopping block from years of constant use.
