Title: Jo Anne Clevenger at Kensler Elementary School in Wichita circa 1989

Caption:
"Teacher Joanne Clevenger explains test instructions to her first-grade students at Kensler Elementary School in Wichita on Tuesday morning."

This clipping was found in Opal Clark's copy of the Elk County History.  Jo Anne (Crismas) Clevenger's dad Clarence was a back alley neighbor to Opal and Arch Clark.  This photo is circa 1989. An article on the back side is about House Speaker Jim Wright defending himself against ethics charges.

Opal read the newspaper everyday and especially liked doing the Word Jumble Puzzles. I am sure that she clipped this photo because it wasn't every day you saw a home town girl in the big city paper.
