Howard relatives and friends have received cards announcing the graduation exercises of the Class of 42-II of the West Coast Air Force Training Center Advanced Bombardier school at the Albuquerque air base which was held on Saturday morning, August 15th at 10 o'clock.
This is of interest to Howard folks as Lt. Marion C. Haile, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Haile of Lawrence and grandson of Mrs. E. M. Haile of Howard, was one of the graduates to be honored at this time. Marion is a graduate of Howard high school and later attended Kansas University at Lawrence for several years in the School of Pharmacy. Marion has been in the army for some time and has been receiving intensive training for his new work.
