If a high fly goes into the right hand bleachers, is it the batter's right hand or the pitcher's right hand?
At my age, I need this answered right away. It is something I should know before I go to heaven.
Hope you have many more years after hearing this answer, but it is the batter's right hand.
Thank you. You have just ended a lifetime of wondering.
Wilma,
I just posed this question to my son who played baseball 15 years----many of which were for Legion ball....and he went into a 30 minute inservice on batting and hand placement and how the field is laid out (among other aspects of the game). You got him excited about baseball all over again---and he has only one more year to play---. Anyway, his answer was exactly as I scolled down and saw buddyboy's answer: The batter's right.
By the way, both season openers for West Elk baseball have been rained out---but the next home game for the boys is April 9--game time 4:00 p.m.
Also---my son said to tell you that was a good question---and to keep them coming!
