Judy L. Shinkle, age 79, of Neodesha, Kansas, passed away on May 31, 2026. She was born on
April 29, 1947 in Neodesha, Kansas to Marvin and Jeannette Cohee.
Judy graduated from Fall River High School in Fall River, Kansas. On June 6, 1965, she married Ronalde Lee Shinkle, the love of her life, and together they shared over 60 years of marriage and family. Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was a source of love, support, and encouragement throughout their lives.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ron and their children, Rhonda (Jeff) Russell of Havana, Kansas, Rebecca Beisly of Neodesha, Kansas, Judy (Trey) Katzer of Liberty, Missouri, and Mark Shinkle of Neodesha, Kansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy Russell, Kevin Russell, Jennifer Long, Nicole Kraft, Veronica Beisly, Joshua Beisly, Corrine Sebranek, Derek Katzer, Ryan Katzer, Matthew Shinkle, and Michael Shinkle; and by twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Loren Cohee, Guy Cohee, Patricia Moses, Bill Cohee, Fred Cohee, Lillian Morgan, David Cohee, and John Cohee; her son-in-law, Glen Beisly; and her granddaughter, Madeline Shinkle.
Funeral services were held on June 6, 2026 at the United Methodist Church in Neodesha, Kansas with burial following at Ross Cemetery. Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha, Kansas was entrusted with arrangements.
