I assume this post is from a Millennial or a Gen Z. And there are many posts like it recently on this Forum, with suggestions to simplify your lives, and have someone else do the work an educational institution expects each of us to do.

Why take short cuts in education? It isn't a game, is it? Why not learn to write, make it an asset of your resume, and just possibly an attribute of your life?

How will you deal with an essay component to a mid-term exam where the Professor grades you for content AND technical writing skills? What if your own writing skills are so lacking the Professor cannot understand the content you present, even though it may be accurate and pertinent to the questions asked?

Millennial and Zoomer generations have some of the highest underemployment numbers, and the least employment potential of the last five or six generations. There are relatively few doors of opportunity open to the last two generations. Those conditions are not solely on your shoulders. We are living in a time of cultural rot and decay disguised by sociologists as change. Given the circumstances, why not take on the challenge of writing, and other skillsets, and have more doors open to you, have more opportunity through self-reliance?
